We recently puchased an RV from Shady Maple. It was a very good expeience from start to finish. The sales, paperwork, service personal were all friendly, honest, and knowledgeable! Can recommend Shady Maple RV without reservation. First rate team & process across the board! Mitchell, it was a pleasure to work with you and everyone at Shady Maple RV!
Lonnie helped me today. Dreama has been a great help also. Shady Maple RV is a great place for your RV needs. I will return!
We bought a Kodiak Camper from Shady Maple. We had to bring it in for some service and the team at Shady Maple were able to expedite the work and get us on the road for our next camping adventure! Such wonderful staff at Shady Maple! Thank you!
While shopping for a TT Fall 2022, I went to look at a Vibe. I called before going to make sure it was still available and they said it was. This was a weekday morning around 10am. I got there 3 hours later and they said it was sold. What are the odds? Or was it already sold and no one bothered to check when I originally called them? They said the new year models would be out soon and someone would call me. Fast forward to January 2023, still no call from the salesman. We stopped in on a Saturday and lo and behold the new models were in. Salesman rushed us through a few and said he would look into a color option for us and we never received a call from them after that visit.
We decided to purchase another model from a different dealer, but needed some service this past summer and Shady Maple is closest to us.
We scheduled our appt 4 weeks before and dropped it 8/28/23 with a promise date of 9/6/23. We didn’t receive a call from them, so 2 weeks later I called to find out where we were at with the work. On two occasions I called to follow up, left a message for Dreama, and didn’t receive a call back. I finally called to speak with manager, Bryan, and from there on out communication improved.
The jist of the rest of it is that none of our work was covered by warranty, and we were going to be charged $320+ dollars to cover the cost of looking into the repairs. When I questioned the total, I was told that a box was checked in error and my original quote for looking into the warranty work was the correct total…around $250. Upon pickup on 10/14/23, you can do the math from the promise date of 9/6/23, there was a $42 charge for something that was never completed and wasn’t on the original estimate. We were told the fee was for the technician’s time to type up the paragraph that described the work that was never done. I was definitely firm in expressing my dissatisfaction with this fee, but was never loud or ugly. Dreama, who was taking my payment, argued about the fee and even changed her story about what it was for, but finally relented and removed the $42 fee. At that point she was cold and downright rude throughout the reminder of the transaction. After she ran my credit card, she put my receipt on the counter and started to walk away without another word spoken. When I asked her where we could find our TT, she said…I don’t know, it’s somewhere out there. I asked if she made all customers wander around her lot to find their unit at pickup. At this point she finally pointed and said it should be somewhere in the back lot and walked away.
From sales to service, this dealer earned a thumbs down. Customer service is almost non-existent in all areas.
Save your time and visit a dealer that wants and values your business.
First time we bought an R from them , no pushy salesperson, easy working with the personnel , had updates done the trailer with no hassle. Yes i would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an Rv
Shady definitely suits this company. We bought a camper from here two years ago. A 2011 Rockwood Roo for about $15k. Found out within 6months that there was a leak above one of the beds, causing the wood to rot on the side panel and bed panel. The water pump does not work at all and the outdoor shower does not work either. When we contacted them about the issue, they said there was no warranty. They did say that their service department should be able to fix it at normal cost. We decided it’s probably best to not give them the extra business and have taken it to a certified forest river dealer. I would not recommend wasting your money at this establishment.
I recently bought a camper and everyone was super friendly and nice. They were patient with all of my questions and I didn't feel pressured. The buying process was fast and smooth. Definitely consider them if you're looking for an RV.
Had a great experience with these guys, dreams was great to work with and also the technician( don’t know his name) was great. Mitchell is wonderful sales person, he showed us two wonderful campers to look at. He knew we were having problems with the one we had not purchased from shady maple. We had picked one that we both really like. Wish I had gone here first instead of where we went.
